In 1955, 250 growers decided to gather forces to create their own house in Mardeuil. Named Beaumont des Crayères after a beautiful hillside vineyard (or Beaumont) in the village, with Crayères referencing the chalk subsoils found here.
Most of the vines are located around the rolling hills of Epernay and all three grape varietals are represented through the 85 hectares farmed organically. We list their fresh and vibrant Brut non-vintage as our house Champagne, which is Pinot Meunier driven (60%) with 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir.
The vintage Fleur de Prestige is more traditional Chardonnay-led blend (50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 15% Meunier).
